Bobby Clifford Lewis, 78, passed away January 22, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born July 6, 1935 in Shell Rock, Iowa, the son of Glen and Iva Lewis.
He attended public schools in Iowa before enlisting in the United States Army where he served during the Korean War from 1952 – 1954. Upon moving to Hutchinson he went to work for Collins Bus Manufacturing and worked as a commercial painter.
He is survived by his long time companion, Diana Kay Gould; 7 children, 1 brother, and an aunt. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
At his request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. A memorial fund has been established to Hospice House of Reno County and may be left in care of Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Ks.
