Anthony J. “Tony” White, 46, passed away at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas, July 27, 2015. The son of Edward and Karen Faye White, he was born in Great Bend, Kansas, March 6, 1969. He was a professional mechanic. He loved to spend time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Tony was a devout Chicago White Sox baseball fan, he would follow every KU basketball game that he could, he enjoyed doing carpentry and tinkering on any car or motorcycle that needed help. He had a passion for Harley – Davidson Motorcycles, was known as the master griller by his family, and always had classic rock or new style country music playing wherever he went. Survivors include his father, Eddie of Hutchinson, Kansas; 1 son, Noah White of Hutchinson, Kansas; 2 daughters, Candice White of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kiara White of Hutchinson, Kansas; 2 brothers, Eddie White, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jonathan Hornbeck of Orange Park, Florida; 1 grandson, Skylar Hewes of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 life long friends, Troy Gault of Kingman, Kansas, Keith Carter of Hutchinson, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. A gathering for friends and family will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has established the Anthony J. “Tony” White family memorial fund and gifts may be left in care of the funeral home. Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson, Kansas is in charge of service arrangements.
