Garrett “Todd” McCauley, 32, died May 21, 2014 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. The son of Garrett and Linda McCauley, he was born February 16, 1982 in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2000, and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served his country in Iraq. He was attending Wichita Technical Institute and worked for Buchanan Technologies. On November 5, 2011, he married Nigel Martinez in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include his mother, three step-children, Andre Morris Jr., Evan and Elena Simmons; his puppies, Molly and Abbie; a brother Byron McCauley; two sisters, LaDonna Warren (Marcus), Tawanna Berry (Sonny); several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6:00 -7:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Penwell – Gabel Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Garrett Todd McCauley Family Fund and left in care of the funeral home.

Jacob (Jake) J. Enslinger, 83, passed away June 16, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born on March 23, 1931 in Liebenthal, Kansas, the son of Joachim and Josephine Enslinger. A professional manufacturing welder by trade, he was also a devoted husband and father. A graduate of Schoenchen High School, he also attended Salt City Business College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. A past president and vice president of the Kansas Oldtime Fiddlers, Pickers, and Singers Cow Creek Chapter, he loved playing his guitar, and reading history and biography books. He married Bonnie J. Almire on January 10, 1955 in Greensburg, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include 3 sons, Ronnie (Sandra), George (Patti), and, Kevin (Kathleen) Enslinger; 4 daughters, Tina Hebert (Harry), Pam Vigil (Dan), and twin daughters, Doris Newton (Stan), Delores Enslinger, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and, 1 grandson. Per his request, cremation has taken place, a celebration of life will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Fairlawn Burial Park Mausoleum chapel at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made out to Meals on Wheels of Reno County and left in care of Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Ks.
